Ruby Red Ahi Tuna

This versatile protein booster is going to be your go-to choice of food. These delicious sashimi grade Ahi tuna portions have a steak-like, hearty and wholesome decadence. Try this in any one of our poke bowl recipes. Also excellent for grilling and in seared or “blackened” fish preparations. Its mild flavor and firm texture adapts well to cooking for any meal of the day.

Try a cajun seared sashimi for your next appetizer. Season with a cajun spice and sesame seeds then seer each side for 30 seconds, and serve with ginger, wasabi and soy sauce for dipping! Also try a Hawaiian Ahi Tuna poke bowl for lunch on the go, or a Ahi eggs benedict for breakfast. The possibilities are endless.

PACKAGING

With each 10lb case comes roughly 24 x 6-7oz beautiful ruby red portions.

*If you plan to cook the tuna then it will be good for 3-4 days in the fridge before it starts to lose it’s fresh zest. When you defrost in fridge cut a hole in the package to let out the excess water. This prevents your fish from getting any bacteria build up or too soft while thawed.  If you plan to eat it as sushi, then you must consume the thawed fish within a couple days for peak freshness.
